The Gnossiennes were composed in 1889-1897. The first three are best known, but the 4th well might be Satie's most beautiful work. The 7th was only rediscovered later. There have been several attempts to explain the title but Satie never gave a clue - probably intentionally. The recordings here are 48kpbs mp3 - for better quality order the CD or contact me.
