Instrument: piano solo.
Quite obvious, these pieces are inspired on Erik Satie. But it is unfeasable to follow his style, and more, I did not want to. The term Gnossiennes was chosen because in fact no one sure knows what was meant by Satie with that title. A plausible argument is that it has to do something with the Greek word γνωσισ having multiple meanings, the central ones being knowledge, insight. So I tried to empathize with his way of thinking - these were the results.
